I'm very interested in the early time of electronics, especially electron tubes and early microprocessors.
There is something magical about electron tubes. I own quite a few of them and love experimenting with them.
I own a small collection of early microprocessors, including some early Intel CPUs such as the 4004, 4040, 8008, 8086, as well as early CPUs from Zilog, Motorola etc. A few years ago, I created an 8008 tester on a breadboard, where an Atmel 8-bit controller acts as clock, RAM and ROM of the 8008. Sometime in the future, I'd like to build a computer with one of these CPUs, may be the 4004 or 8008.
